The Ministry

The ministry of “From trial to triumph” started in 2013 when Moses Wong was called to be a family life educator to conduct many parenting workshops to different schools throughout Singapore. Till date thousands of parents have attended his workshops.

His inspiration

Moses was inspired by one of the biggest trials in his life in 2006 when he discovered that his third child Ariel had a congenital liver problem when she was seventy days old. Upon this discovery he was also informed that Ariel would need to undergo a liver transplant before she turned there years old. This marks the beginning of a very tough parenting journey for Moses and his family.

When Ariel was about three years old she experienced terrible suffering like vomiting of blood unexpectedly at home.

His faith and hope

When this happened, Moses knew that if God did intervene by providing a liver on time for Ariel’s transplant, she would have passed away.

One Friday night he gathered his entire family together for prayer and intercession for Ariel. Moses told God, “either You intervene by providing Ariel a liver or You take her away. It is better for her to be with You than to continually suffer on earth.” The next day, he received a phone call from the hospital that there was a possible transplant for her. God has performed a miracle and the rest is history.

His book

In 2016 he penned his experience in a book called “From trial to triumph”. The main purpose of his book is to inspire hope and love for families with medically challenged kids or individuals who are undergoing trials.
