Weekly Tip 13
*Morning Family Tip from Moses Wong*
Hi friends, I’m Moses Wong, a visually challenged massage therapist.
Today, I want to share about teaching your children the value of money.
As parents, it’s easy to provide for our kids without teaching them how to earn it themselves. But it’s essential to help them understand the value of money.
My 17-year-old daughter earns money by selling her drawings online, and my 15-year-old gets paid for doing laundry at home.
I also encourage her to work part-time during school holidays. By doing so, I’m teaching them the importance of earning and managing money.
Two questions for you to consider:
1. Do your children understand the value of money?
2. How do you plan to teach it to them?
Let’s integrate family and finance to develop our children’s “holistic you”.
By teaching them the value of money, we’ll set them up for a brighter financial future.
